And once your license is in hand, both offer aircraft rentals. You're always 45 minutes away from the beach when you rent aircraft in Sanford, and you only pay for the actual flight time to and from your destination!
Leave your plane with us. For those who own their own plane, the airport offers brand-new hangars and plenty of inexpensive tie-down spots just outside the terminal.
Socialize with fellow pilots. Thanks to the Wings of Carolina Flying Club, based at the Sanford-Lee County Regional Airport, member pilots can enjoy monthly social gatherings, a private fleet of rental aircraft, safety seminars, special events and many other benefits. The club occasionally even volunteers its aircraft to assist with charitable projects.
